Time is a sad thing. We all get old and die one day, but mayhap if you stay true and believe in those that love you, you can die peacefully and reach the clearing at the end of the path with a smile
Finished the newest addition to the Dark Tower series today. Since I began reading Stephen King my life has been on the edge of chaos. Leaning more towards the side of chaos… But Roland of Gilead and his Ka-Tet, The Losers Club, The Survivors of Capt. Trips and the many others have been a shining light to help me get through these tough times. Now that it seems the Dark Tower chapter of my life has ended I’m not sure which way to turn. But all I know is that Ka is a wheel, and often sweeps you up like a wind.
I started to think, maybe if you think of a thing long enough, and believe in it, it gets real. Maybe all the monsters we were scared of when we were kids, Frankenstein and wolfman and the mummy, maybe they were real. Real enough to kill the kids that were supposed to have fallen into gravel pits or drowned in lakes or were just never found…
